WE’RE BUILDING SOMETHING GREAT HERE

JOIN THE TEAM THAT GIVES FAMILIES THEIR TIME BACK

Organizing for Life is a high-touch home organization service based in East Tennessee. We go into homes, roll up our sleeves, and create real, lasting change for families who are ready to breathe again. We’re growing — and we’re looking for two great team members to grow with us.

THIS JOB IS FOR YOU IF….

WHO THRIVES ON THIS TEAM

We’ve noticed a pattern. The people who do best here tend to have what we call “responsible eldest daughter energy” — even if they’re not the eldest, and even if “daughter” doesn’t apply. They’re used to managing things. They notice what needs to happen before anyone asks. They take ownership and they follow through.

They also tend to be:

  • Moms with older kids who have solid support at home

  • People who have run households and understand what “functional systems” actually means

  • Growth-oriented: they want to get better, not just get through

  • Calm and capable in busy, dynamic environments

  • Deeply detail-oriented, the kind of person who notices when the labels aren’t straight and can’t “unsee it” until it’s fixed!

If you’re the person in your friend group who reorganizes the host’s pantry while everyone else is watching the game — we need to talk.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

You pull up to a beautiful East Tennessee home. Today’s project: a garage that hasn’t been fully accessible in three years.

Your morning is pure detective mode …emptying, sorting, categorizing, identifying what this family actually needs versus what’s just taking up space. You’re hauling bins, clearing donations and trash from the space, and managing the flow of the edit with ease.

By the afternoon, you’re placing things back with intention based on frequency of use. Labels are going on. The systems are taking shape.

At the end of the day, the client walks in. Sometimes they go quiet. Sometimes they cry. Sometimes they say something like “I can’t believe this is my home.”

That’s the job. And yes, it never gets old.

Other days look different: running an errand for a Life Support client, doing laundry, helping with a pantry reset, or supporting a big move from packing to first-night-in-the-new-home systems. Every day is a little different.

Every day, you change lives.

THIS JOB IS NOT FOR YOU IF…

We say this with zero judgment. It’s just about fit.

  • …and you can’t commit to consecutive project days.

Organizer continuity through client projects is critical to project success so we love availability on consecutive weekdays. Therefore, we ask for availability 3 Weekdays Consistently during the hours 9am-5pm

This allows us to work as a team and get into a rhythm as we edit then install product and organize client spaces. Consistent availability allows you to grow with us quickly, climbing within our organizer level and growing your compensation as you climb.

  • Flexible, expert advice when you need it. Book hourly support across a range of topics—from planning to problem-solving. This focused consultation will help clarify your goals, map out next steps, and identify opportunities for growth.

  • Certain seasons are hard on all of us. So we see fluctuations in this market across all service-based businesses. For example, snowy seasons, after natural disasters (like Helene), Thanksgiving, etc.

Work hours cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, we want this to be a bonus income for our organizers. So you can rest when you’re off and come back recharged as work picks back up.

  • You will work with other members of the team to declutter, sort, and organize our client's spaces.

Meaning - this job can be very physically demanding so we ask that you are able to lift up to 25 pounds and be comfortable with bending, squatting, and standing for long periods of time (6-8 hour shifts).

Our work requires consistency, stamina, and a specific kind of dependability. The right life season matters just as much as the right skill set.
